Obama Auction: The One You've Been Waiting For

Well here it is.

But first, the back story.

A few years ago, my mother-in-law, who posts here as "Oosje," and who took home this year's Ginny award for Commenter of the Year, went to Burning Man. As you know, Burning man takes place in the middle of the arid Nevada desert, where drinking plenty of water is a must.

Art is king at Burning Man, and those campers who bring their adventurous expressive artistic attitude with them have the best time. Oosje, of course is an artist and went with her artist friends.

And so, in the participatory nature the event, they fashioned drinking cups out of an old lacy red bra and several layers of lacquer. the attached bra strap serves as a clip strap, which was used to clip the ups to themselves when they took a walk-about.
