Not That There is Anything Wrong With It

The eye liner was running. There was heart break in the quivering voice. Well-glossed lips trembled against the phone in Hollywood as Mom, back in Kansas, got the bad news. It was all over. All that work was for nothing. HE would not be the next American Idol.

Does it seem to you that there is a disproportionate number of young gay boys on American Idol this year? I mean, I suppose it makes sense, Clay Aiken blazing the trail, and all...

But really, it's like the high school Glee Club run amok. Only gayer.

Of course, what's worse, the fact that lispy boys cry because Simon was rude to them, or the fact that I'm sitting on my couch watching them?? (You don't need to answer that...)

Jesus, I should just start wearing panties...

Now, I just feel dirty, but not in that fun heathen sort of way. Maybe if I post a hot girlie picture, I'll feel better...

Ya, OK, I feel a little better. I guess a little cleavage goes a long way.

You should start wearing panties. You'd feel dirty all the time.

  6. I vote for House over AI.

  7. Dave, we all realize you have a stake (of sorts) in AI. We can also surmise that you look down on Brian in most cases. Thus this doesn't really sound like a plausible "I have your back" situation. Nice try though.

Hugh Laurie is delicious. He and Stephen Fry are gods among men.

  8. Stephen Fry loves to be amongst men..

And Dave can only look down on Brian if he stands on a chair first

  9. Oh, I believe most of my pals "have my back."

Dave and Dr. Brian, Carl and Ryan, Even Fred and Abestis.

Tom, on the other hand, is a shit-eating weasel.

  10. Lisa, *sigh* I know. He's super gay. I love him anyway. I really like his novels, and a Bit of Fry and Laurie...good times.

  11. Amanda, I think you, me and Ev should talk amongst ourselves
Apparently we're not on the Brian's pal list...

Stephen fry is a quintessential British posh bloke - love him

  12. We should do that anyway. In this case Brian was talking about the circle jerk that they have planned for the G and T get-together after party.

  13. Ah, the circle jerk

I intend sitting in the middle to watch - Im a sucker for circus freaks

  14. This is unrelated. I walked in from the dog walk to encounter my father in his tuxedo. He made V day dinner and decorated the table.

So, happy I'm single and not getting laid day to everyone.

  15. What do you mean unrelated?
You mean some people read Brian's posts before they comment?

Your dad is sweet. My daughter got a teddy and a rose, bouquets and gifts were arriving frequently in work to the squealing delight of the recepitants

I just ate their chocolates pondering how many blow jobs each bouquet was worth..

  16. I'll post pictures of my dad pouring the champagne tomorrow. The pictures my stepmum made me take with him didn't turn out. She said, "Now look like you like one another," and it made me start to guffaw...and all the pictures of me are all pink and mid-guffaw. Oops. My dad is apparently making tableside caesar salad. He bought champagne, the wine is currently being decanted, and we made the chocolate mousse last night. I think he's trying to get some.

  17. They probably wish they could get rid of the daughter for the night

Just saying Amanda - daddy wants some, go to your room..

  18. My stepsister is here too. I asked what hotel they'd booked for the night. And believe me, I stay in my room...a lot. I carry a weight of shame regarding the fact that I'm 26 and staying at my parents. I've just outed myself.

Hey everybody, I have an art degree and tons of debt! Anyone want to commission something?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Perhaps the guys will commission a painting of the circle jerk

Im thinking something like The Last Supper

Ah, the circle jerk. I intend sitting in the middle to watch

You might want to wear eye protection in that case.

  21. Im figuring its a big circle

but yeah, I'll keep my mouth shut

  22. I just realized that it's Wednesday and Valentine's Day. Happy Hump Day!

Its not that there will be a big circle; they are just big jerks.

I find Brian's infatuation with AI the single greatest gayest thing about him. It completely undermines every manly thing he has ever said or done (both of them, his daughter and his son).

I wonder if for Valentines day they would do a heart shaped jerk instead of circle?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anonymous11:29 AM

Anonymous, AI is not even close to the gayest thing about Brian.

I have it from an excellant source that Brian does wear panties! When the Monkey was helping me fold the laundry she pointed to a folded ungarment and said "Daddy's panties"! We all know that the Monkey is very smart. Who can argue with that.

Be compelling.
