Flavor

If you had to describe me in terms of a flavor, what flavor would I be?

I, for instance, might say that I am Margarita flavor, sweet, but a little wicked.

(Originally, I was going to ask what flavor you were, but my narcissistic instinct took over. It's all about me, not you.)

So, what flavor am I?

  2. Hey wait, isn't this an old Question of the Week from MY blog? Well, I will answer you all the same - back in junior year of high school, you answered this question as "penicillin" - occasionally bitter, but ultimately good for people in the long run.

That's what you said then, that's what I think now.

  4. 'twas also a blog idea of the day from Grab long ago...

And I would say... ginger. Sometimes spicy, sometimes a bit hard to take, but overall the good outweighs the bad... barely ;-)

Wet mushy bread. Like cheap hot dog buns soaked in water and then mushed around a bit.

  8. And whom do you think SUBMITTED that Blog Idea of the Day? Sheesh. Lest we forget...

  9. Dave and Grab - those were the days....

I would have never thought that Brian would taste like me. Hmmmm ... let's ask Tom.

  12. Crap! Dave's right. He did ask this question on his own blog not long ago.

And here I thought I was being creative...

Sorry Dave, I didn't mean to Poach.

hmmm... Does that mean I taste like poached eggs?

  13. It's not poaching, it's imitation. Does this mean you're sincerely flattering Dave?

And Mrs. Tom-- heh, that did occur to me after I posted it, sorry! But if Tom does come to a definitive conclusion... perhaps he should keep it to himself ;-)

  14. Actually, I take that back-- if Tom responds with the affirmative, is that a compliment to Brian... or an insult to you? ;-)

Marmite. For those of you who have never tasted it,an aquired taste to be sure, it is strong, pungent, with a slightly sweet aftertaste. It is eaten in very small doses and craved for when there is none to be had.

Nope, not ginger, although I wish since it is one of my favorites (although if I recall correctly, Mrs. Tom is not a big fan, go figure).

I think Oosje got it right.

There was a beer I tasted at Brewfest once called Old Bastard or something like that. It had the aftertaste of sweaty fat men.

  18. Wait, who are you calling sweaty??

Well at least sweaty on one side of your face.
